Then Again

then again

perhaps the hardest thing

is not the truth itself

but speaking it aloud

one sentence at a time

bogged down by walls of text

i weave a fairy-tale

convoluted speech

a poetry that’s lost

on you

then again

maybe dreams are where

i thrive

it’s there

that you hold my hand

    1. XD and LOL šŸ˜€ I’d never heard of him before. Thanks for the laugh, to you and Mr. Pinette. I’ve been watching some other clips of his on YouTube today… (the one about turnips… XD)

It is kind of sad… but I suppose that depends on how the story ends… For some reason, it tends to be those moments of melancholy that move me to poetry. It sometimes feels like all my poems say the same thing.

Thanks again for making me laugh! You’re the best, Aud. Have a wonderful evening.

      1. Yes..my favs are his trip to DQ, turnips. ..for sure..loved it and almost went with that one for you. Love the one where he gets lost in a museum in England…hysterical!! Glad you laughed. Yay!!! Did you listen to the one about Italy? Laughs.

You think your poems say the same thing?! “Hi, I’m Audrey. I’d like to invite you to my blog.” I’m circling and circling around the same bloody topic of love and acceptance. Hope it ends well.

You’re welcome. Thank you. Any time!! You, too. xx

      2. I’ll have to look those ones up too. šŸ™‚

Yeah… *smiles* ‘Tis a problem I have: expecting to have everything all figured out. It takes time. But we learn, ideally. šŸ™‚ The same to you!
